Add 1 lb (450g) of minced beef and mix well with the potatoes, breaking the mince into smaller pieces.

Cook for a further 7-9 minutes, stirring and turning the potatoes and mince as they brown.

Grease a 25 cm ovenproof pan with oil.
Put half of the potatoes in the pan.

Spread 1 lb (450 g) minced meat over the potatoes.

Add 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika.
Add 1/2 onion on top of the ground beef.
Add the rest of the potatoes.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 180°C/356°F until potatoes are cooked through, about 30-35 minutes.
Beat 3 eggs and season with salt and black pepper, adding 1/2 tsp oregano.
Add 1/2 cup / 100 ml whipping cream.
Add 3.5 oz / 100 g cheddar cheese.
Pour the egg mixture into the pan.
Bake for another 15-20 minutes at 356°F / 180°C.
